Phu Tho Sends 9 Athletes to the 2024 National Archery Championship
On October 24, the 2024 National Archery Championship officially kicked off at the Tam Dao District Sports Center Stadium in Vinh Phuc province. Phu Tho’s archery team is participating with 9 male and female athletes competing in both individual and team events with recurve and compound bows at various distances including 30m, 40m, and 50m.
This year’s tournament took place from October 21 to October 30, featuring 196 athletes from 18 provinces and cities nationwide, including An Giang, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Kien Giang, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh, Soc Trang, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Phu Tho, and the host Vinh Phuc. The athletes competed in events such as all-around, mixed pairs, team, and team relay in both recurve and compound bow categories, for both men and women, across various distances.
