On the morning of May 31, the Provincial People’s Council, term XIX, period 2021-2026, conducted its fourth theme session to deliberate on a number of important problems.
Bui Minh Chau, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, presented the opening remarks during the session.
The session was presided over by Mr. Bui Minh Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Duong Hoang Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lam, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council.

The session was attended by Mr. Bui Van Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches, districts, cities, and towns; and representatives of the Provincial People’s Council.

Speaking at the beginning of the session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Bui Minh Chau emphasized that 2024 is a year of special significance in determining the completion of the goals, targets, and tasks of the whole term proposed by the 19th Provincial Party Congress. To guarantee timely and quality execution and implementation in line with current rules of the Central Government and the National Assembly for socioeconomic development in the province, at this session, the People’s Council The province will evaluate and adopt six theme items for the Provincial People’s Committee to carry out.
Mr. Dinh Cong Thuc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People’s Council, presented the Economic and Budget Committee’s verification reports.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, the provincial police director, provided a report on security and order in Phu Tho province.
These are important contents, ensuring the implementation of legal regulations and objective practical requirements; at the same time, they serve as the foundation for the Provincial People’s Committee to organize and implement socioeconomic development and national security and defense tasks. The Provincial People’s Council delegates and delegates attending the Meeting must maintain their sense of responsibility by carefully studying the contents; discussing and contributing many enthusiastic, profound, practical, and quality opinions; clearly expressing their views and opinions; and resolving to pass resolutions that ensure quality, comply with the regulations of the Central Government and the National Assembly, and are highly feasible during implementation.

The Provincial People’s Council, led by Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hong Lam, heard the Provincial People’s Committee give report summaries. After listening to Dinh Cong Thuc, Head of the Provincial People’s Council’s Economic and Budget Committee, and Nguyen Trung Kien, Head of the Provincial People’s Council’s Legal Committee, present the verification reports of the Provincial People’s Council Committees on the above contents, the Provincial People’s Council held a debate under the leadership of Standing Vice Chairman Duong Hoang Huong.
At the Meeting, delegates voiced strong support for the Proposals and verification reports, and they provided many insightful, passionate, and constructive comments. In the spirit of innovation and democracy, the Provincial People’s Council unanimously considered, examined, and enacted six Resolutions, which serve as the legal foundation for the Provincial People’s Committee and related agencies to carry out their responsibilities in the future.
Speaking at the meeting’s conclusion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Bui Minh Chau asked the Provincial People’s Committee to urgently organize the implementation of resolutions to ensure that the order and procedures comply with current legal regulations; deploy, monitor, urge, and check implementation progress and ensure quality. It is recommended that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Council, Committees of the Provincial People’s Council, representative groups, and Provincial People’s Council delegates be in charge of coordinating with relevant agencies to monitor and communicate the content of the approved Resolution at this session to voters and residents of the province.

To prepare for the 8th Session of the XIX Provincial People’s Council, taking place in early July, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council requested the Provincial People’s Committee to continue to strengthen direction and administration to successfully complete the task socio-economic development in the first 6 months of the year as well as the whole year 2024; Focus on reviewing and completing the contents prepared for the 8th session. Each representative of the Provincial People’s Council continued to uphold the duty and responsibility of the delegate, helping to ensure the effective execution of the Eighth Session of the Provincial People’s Council, term XIX.
