Announcing the electronic invoice system

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee Phan Trong Tan, Head of the steering committee for the implementation of e-invoices and members kickstart the e-invoice system.
(en.baophutho.vn) - On November 21, The General Department of Taxation started to issue electronic invoices (or e-invoices)
The application of e-invoices is carried out in two phases. The first phase will be implemented in some cities and provinces namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the Northern City of Hai Phong, the northern provinces of Quang Ninh, Phu Tho and the Central Province of Binh Dinh, starting from November 2021, with the target of at least 70% of enterprises and economic organizations by the end of 2021. The second phase will begin on June 30, 2022 with the remaining 57 cities and provinces with an aim of 100% taxpayers to use e-invoices according to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration.
In Phu Tho, so far, there are over 4,000 organizations and enterprises registered to use e-invoices (reaching 61%). To reach 75% by the end of 2021 and 100% by the end of June 2022 of of all taxpayers using e-invoices, the Provincial People"s Committee has established a Steering Committee for the implementation of e-invoices; conducting training on management processes and policies on e-invoices; reviewing and categorizing overall taxpayers.
Immediately after the announcement ceremony, Vice Chairman Phan Trong Tan requested the Steering Committee and the assisting groups at all levels to coordinate with the tax sector to soon implement the e-invoices; proactively promote the application of electronic receipts to organizations and individuals when performing public services at the unit; ensuring accurate, transparent and safe data. At the same time, continuing to strengthen propaganda and support organizations, enterprises and individuals.
