Commemorating the 79th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution, the 62nd anniversary of Uncle Ho’s second visit to Hung Temple, on August 19, at Gieng Temple, Hung Temple Historical Relic Site respectfully held an incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to the Hung Kings, ancestors who built the country, and to remember and show deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.

Leaders, cadres, and workers of the Hung King Temple Historical Relic Site offered incense to pay tribute to the Hung Kings and to remember and show deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh visited Hung Temple twice and burned incense to pay tribute to his ancestors in 1954 before returning to take over the capital Hanoi and in 1962 to celebrate the success of the August Revolution.

Leaders, cadres, and workers of the Hung Temple Historical Site offered a flower basket with the words “Forever remember and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” in front of the relief “Uncle Ho talking to cadres and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps.”

On August 19, 1962, on the occasion of Phu Tho province holding a rally to celebrate the success of the August Revolution, President Ho Chi Minh visited the Party Committee and people of Phu Tho province. He visited Hung Temple and burned incense to inform his ancestors. He advised “to pay attention to protecting and planting more flowers and trees so that Hung King Temple will become more and more solemn and beautiful, becoming a historical park for future generations to visit.”

Leaders, cadres, and workers of the Hung Temple historical relic site plant additional trees at the Gieng Temple intersection.

Following Uncle Ho’s instructions, over the years, Hung Temple has always received the attention of the Party, the State, and the leaders of Phu Tho province in investing, renovating, embellishing, and building the Hung Temple to become more and more solemn and beautiful. Every year, at the Hung Temple historical relic site, many programs have been held to launch the Tree Planting Festival by Party and State leaders; many programs and projects to plant trees and improve native forests at Hung Temple have been implemented.

Every year, the relic site has built and organized programs to plant additional native trees, shade trees, flower gardens, and green campuses to create a diverse and rich ecosystem for the Hung Temple National Forest according to Uncle Ho’s instructions. In a solemn atmosphere, leaders, cadres, and workers at the Hung Temple historical relic site respectfully offered incense to express gratitude to the Hung Kings, ancestors who built the country, and deeply remembered and expressed gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.

At the same time, they offered a flower basket with the words “Forever remember and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” in front of the relief “Uncle Ho talking to cadres and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps”; planted additional trees to create a green, clean, and beautiful landscape at the Gieng Temple 5-way intersection.
