On April 15, at the Command Headquarters of Military Region 2, the Central Propaganda Department organized a meeting with the press - publishing, literary and art agencies in the Northern Midlands and Mountains area in collaboration with the Vietnam People’s Army’s General Department of Politics and the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, analyzes the socioeconomic development status and press - publishing, literary and art activities in Phu Tho province.

As a result, the province now has four press agencies that cover all four categories of press (print, radio, television, and electronic), as well as 58 general electronic information sites that operate on the Internet, 15 newsletters, and three special issues. 100% of state agencies have full electronic information websites that provide transparent information and online public services to citizens and companies. The Provincial Union of Culture and Arts has 259 members who work in nine majors. Members have produced hundreds of books, anthologies, novels, short tales, poetry, music, research, criticism, paintings, pictures, and other works to serve local political and recreational requirements of all classes. Press agencies in the province always act in line with the principles and aims, continually innovating and enhancing the quality, substance, and format of press publications, serving as a link between the Party, the administration, and the media stratum. It has successfully leveraged the benefits of social networks and Internet technologies, with the goal of becoming a multimedia press agency. As a result, he made a significant contribution to promoting the country, its people, and Phu Tho province’s economic, cultural, social, security, and defense successes to local and international audiences.

During the meeting, participants heard numerous impassioned and responsible speeches from various press - publishing, literary and art agencies. In particular, focus on exchanging to improve coordination in orientation and providing information in a timely and accurate manner; proposing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, thereby creating favorable conditions for press - publishing, literary and art agencies in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region to grow sustainably.

The meeting was attended by leaders of the Party periodicals in the provinces.

Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, hopes that party committees at all levels in the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces will continue to create conditions for press - publishing, literary and art agencies. He also recommended that the press - publishing, literary and art agencies invent propaganda tactics to suit local culture and be connected to the people in order to boost propaganda efficacy. Pay special attention to information and propaganda to implement Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW dated February 10, 2022 of the Politburo on “Socio-economic development directions, ensuring national defense and security in the Northern Midlands and Mountains until 2030, with a vision to 2045; at the same time, pay attention to preserving and promoting the cultural values of each locality and region, contributing to effectively implementing the goal of”comprehensive human development and building an advanced Vietnamese culture embracing national identity, to make culture an endogenous strength, a driving force for national development and national defense" as stated in the 13th Party Congress Resolution. He hopes that the team of writers, artists, and journalists will closely follow the breath of life to create quality works, truly being a bridge between the Party’s will and the people’s hearts, contributing to raising awareness and consolidating people’s faith in the leadership of the Party and State; arouse and encourage the spirit of patriotism, great national unity, the will to be self-sufficient, self-reliant, and the desire to develop a prosperous and happy country...
