In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam and welcoming the Year of the Horse 2026, Van Phu Ward organized the “Van Phu Spring Colors” program. The event took place at the Lai Len Temple Historical and Cultural Site—a sacred space deeply connected to two UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritages: the Hung Kings Worship Ritual and Phu Tho Xoan Singing.
This marks the first time “Van Phu Spring Colors” has been organized with such professional scale and rich traditional cultural content.
The program, held from February 7–8, attracted a large number of officials, Party members, and residents. As the debut of this large-scale initiative, it showcased the profound traditional identity of the Ancestral Land.

The program featured various cultural exchanges and performances, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the event was the Phu Tho Xoan Singing performance, featuring the four original Xoan guilds: Kim Dai, An Thai, Thet, and Phu Duc. The full repertoire was performed right at Lai Len Temple—the birthplace of this unique folk art—honoring and spreading the value of this global intangible heritage.
In addition, the program recreated a traditional rural market space with 12 stalls managed by local kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools. Other activities included a square sticky rice cake wrapping exchange involving local agencies, units, and armed forces, alongside traditional folk games and lively musical performances.

The traditional rural market space was vividly recreated during the program.
Through this event, Van Phu Ward not only created a cheerful atmosphere for the traditional Tet holiday but also reaffirmed its commitment to preserving and promoting traditional values. This effort aims to promote the image of a culturally rich Van Phu, striving toward the goal of becoming a key stopover and connection point for Phu Tho province’s tourism circuits by 2030.
