Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Receives Report on the Organization of the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - The Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week in the Year of the Snake 2025

On March 26, Mr. Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, presided over a meeting to hear the report from the Organizing Committee of the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - The Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week in the Year of the Snake 2025 regarding the implementation of tasks according to the plan for organizing the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary in 2025.

According to the plan, the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and The Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week in the Year of the Snake 2025 will take place from March 29 to April 7, 2025 (from the 1st to the 10th day of the third lunar month).

At this point, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Hung Kings Historical Relic Site, the People’s Committee of Viet Tri City, and other departments and localities have actively advised and completed preparations for the ceremonial activities and a series of events for the Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week. Visual propaganda and promotional activities are being strengthened to showcase the cultural heritage of the Fatherland; the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and the Fatherland Cultural and Tourism Week in 2025 in the districts, towns, and cities of the province, especially in Viet Tri City and the Hung Kings Historical Relic Site.

Phu Tho Province has established a Press Center to serve the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and the Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week in the Year of the Snake 2025, from March 29 to April 7, 2025, located at the Tourist Reception and Performing Arts House at the Hung Kings Historical Relic Site. The center will coordinate and support the provision of information, materials, and images for reporters from national and local media outlets to promote the activities through the Zalo group "Information on the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary 2025."

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Quang acknowledged and praised the initiative and responsibility of the Organizing Committee members, departments, and localities in advising and implementing tasks.

He emphasized: The preparation work for the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and The Fatherland Cultural and Tourism Week in the Year of the Snake 2025 must be completed soon to ensure that activities take place starting from the 1st of March, allowing people and visitors to offer incense and experience activities rich in cultural heritage, and explore cultural treasures. The ceremonial part must be organized with solemnity, respect, and community spirit, while the festival activities must reflect the unique cultural identity of the Fatherland region.
