Kick-off ceremony of Youth Month 2024
On February 28, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province organized an event in Viet Tri city to commemorate Youth Month 2024 under the theme "The Youth of the Ancestral Land volunteer for community life."
The Provincial Youth Union’s Board of Directors has implemented a series of key activities for Youth Month with the goal of maximizing creativity, volunteer spirit, innovation, practicality, efficiency, and high action. These activities include donating 15 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances and 100 helmets to students in Viet Tri city. Organizing free medical checkups and drugs for over 100 policy beneficiaries who are former volunteers, and organizing the “Colors of the Highlands” market activity in Viet Tri City; presented 10 gifts to students in difficult circumstances at Central University Preparatory School for Ethnic Minorities; coordinated with the City Party Committee - Viet Tri City People’s Committee to give 5 sets of computers to elementary and middle school students with difficult circumstances in the city; coordinated with Viettel Phu Tho to give 200 cores of clean water filters to Doan Hung and Thanh Ba Districts; awarded 12 Youth projects “Lighting up the countryside” and 9 projects “Youth Tree Row” to districts, towns and cities in the province.
Phu Tho Youth’s response actions to kick off “Youth Month” are fostering a vibrant competitive environment and significant spillover strength. Following the launch ceremony for Youth Month 2024, localities will simultaneously implement many meaningful projects and activities in various fields with specific, highly actionable content, resulting in widespread dissemination and attracting the active and responsible participation of a large number of youth members.
