On the morning of February 25, the provincial Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee attended new enlistee handover ceremonies in districts, cities, and towns around the province. In 2024, Phu Tho expects almost 2,000 new recruits to join the army, participate in military duty and public security service.

This year, Lam Thao district has 113 new recruits joining the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security. The army has 90 citizens, while the provincial police have 23. Recruits were allocated to the following receiving units: Hanoi Capital Command, President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, Air Defense - Air Force Service, Brigade 144 under General Staff, Brigade 604 and Staff Department under Military Region 2.
Through rigorous selection procedures, 100% of new recruits match the requirements of political quality, morality, cultural level, and health to join the army this time.

At the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau and delegates presented flowers and gifts to the receiving units and encouraged new recruits to join the army, bringing with them the spirit of enthusiasm and dedication of youth to study, practice, and complete all assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

In 2024, Phu Tho town will have 77 new recruits joining the army, with 61 serving in the military and 16 serving in public security. Recruits are allocated to several units, including the Political Officer Training School, Air Defense - Air Force Service, Brigade 604, Battalion 39 and Staff Department under Military Region 2, and Provincial Department of Public Security.
100% of new recruits fulfill the health, cultural, and political criteria, and are determined to depart and perform their assigned objectives. Over 82% of new recruits fall within health groups 1 and 2; 5 have college or university degrees; 7 are Catholic; and 35 attended the Party training session.
The new recruits eagerly proceeded to join the army.
At the military transfer event, Bui Van Quang, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and delegations delivered flowers and presents to the receiving units while also encouraging new recruits. Comrades complimented the younger generation’s eagerness and responsibility in carrying out their patriotic duties. At the same time, he recommended new army recruits to actively study, train, maintain military discipline, and effectively accomplish given responsibilities in accordance with the good traditions of their predecessors.

In 2024, 94 young people from Viet Tri city will join the army, with 71 serving in the military and 23 serving in the public security. New recruits have been allocated to the following units: Air Defense - Air Force Service, Brigade 168, Brigade 297 under Military Region 2, and Provincial Department of Public Security.

According to norms, all young people joining in the army have good health, moral characteristics, and cultural qualifications that fulfill the requirements of military recruitment units. Among them, roughly 73% of new recruits in military duty achieved level 1 or level 2 health; 7 new recruits had university or college degrees, and 6 young men applied to volunteer to join the army.
At the occasion, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai and delegates presented flowers and presents to new recruits and urged them to join the army. At the same time, we hope that the new recruits would promote the spirit of youth and their homeland’s great revolutionary traditions, train incessantly, study diligently, firmly adhere to military and people’s police discipline, and strive for excellence in all assigned tasks.
