On the afternoon of February 6, at the Van Lang Park stage in Viet Tri City, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance officially opened the Exhibition Week for Signature Cooperative Products in celebration of the 2026 Lunar New Year. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Dinh Cong Su, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders from the Provincial Fatherland Front and various departments.
Vice Chairman Dinh Cong Su delivers his keynote speech at the opening ceremony.
To date, the province boasts approximately 1,425 cooperative groups and nearly 1,700 active cooperatives, providing regular employment for over 7,400 workers and thousands of seasonal laborers. These entities play a vital role in increasing income and stabilizing the lives of rural residents.
The exhibition features 30 booths showcasing around 200 signature products from cooperatives across the province. This event is more than just a marketplace; it serves as a cultural space honoring creative labor. It connects cooperatives with enterprises, distribution systems, and supply chains both within and outside the province, fostering trade promotion and expanding market reach.
As a practical activity within the series of events celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress, the week provides consumers with high-quality products of transparent origin and food safety, catering to the shopping needs for the Lunar New Year.

Vice Chairman Dinh Cong Su presents flowers to congratulate the Provincial Cooperative Alliance.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Dinh Cong Su affirmed that the event not only connects supply and demand but also honors the collective economy’s vital role in the province’s socio-economic development. He urged cooperatives to prioritize product quality as a “survival factor” for sustainable growth and to proactively adopt VietGAP, GlobalGAP, organic, and circular farming processes.
Furthermore, he emphasized the need to standardize production, processing, and preservation to ensure clear traceability. Cooperatives were encouraged to enhance the OCOP Program (One Commune, One Product), improve star ratings, refine packaging, and imbue products with the cultural identity of the Ancestral Land.

Delegates visit the exhibition booths.
The Vice Chairman also expressed his hope that the Provincial Cooperative Alliance would continue its core role in providing consultancy, training, and guidance for cooperatives in digital transformation, green transition, and brand building to protect consumer interests.
