The British Council is an international organization for cultural cooperation and educational opportunities in the United Kingdom. With over 80 years of experience in administering international exams—and 28 years of operation in Vietnam—it is a trusted name in education. As Vietnam continues to integrate more deeply into the global community, the IELTS certificate has become a vital “passport” for many students.

Starting from March 2025, all IELTS tests in Vietnam will be conducted entirely on computer. Students will take the test under the direct supervision of British Council experts and will be introduced to the official test process at the British Council’s only authorized IELTS testing site—licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates wishing to register for the exam can seek assistance from the Foreign Language and Information Technology Center of Hung Vuong University.

During the program, representatives from the British Council provided updates on the computer-based IELTS test, answered student questions, and shared available incentives. Candidates had the opportunity to take a trial test on computer for two skills—Listening and Reading—helping them become familiar with the digital exam format, understand common pitfalls, and better prepare for the official test.
