The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Phung Khanh Tai, visits and presents gifts in Phu Ninh district

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947–July 27, 2024), on July 23, Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and policy families in Phu Ninh district.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Le Van Sau, a war invalid, sick soldier, and resistance fighter infected with toxic chemicals in Zone 2, Binh Phu commune.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai and the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Chi in Zone 5; Mr. Le Van Sau, a war invalid, sick soldier, and resistance fighter infected with toxic chemicals in Zone 2; Mr. Le Van Toan, a wounded soldier in Lung Hang area, Binh Phu commune; wounded soldier Nguyen Xuan Tinh in Area 8; and the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoa, who has two generations of martyrs in Area 10, Phu Ninh commune.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Le Van Toan, a wounded soldier in the Lung Hang area of Binh Phu commune.

At the places visited, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai kindly asked about the health and lives of the families and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded soldiers, and families of martyrs to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

He hoped that the families would continue to encourage their children and grandchildren to live in harmony and solidarity and strictly comply with the Party’s guidelines and policies and the State’s laws; promote the good qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers; be exemplary in local movements and activities; actively work and produce; and contribute to building a rich and civilized homeland.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tinh, a war invalid in Zone 8, Phu Ninh Commune.

He requested that the party committees and authorities of Phu Ninh district continue to do well the work of “repaying gratitude,” building and promoting the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source." In particular, pay special attention to and well implement the regimes and policies of the Party and State towards Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious contributions to the revolution; promptly support and encourage spiritually and materially, helping families have an increasingly better life.
