Traditional cultural exchange “Visiting to the land of heritage”

The Youth of the Central Propaganda and Education Committee in coordination with Kim Duc Commune, the Youth Group of Phu Tho Electric Power Company, the Military Music and Dance Theatre and other associated units, organized a cultural exchange “On Heritage” in Lai Len temple, Viet Tri city On May 18th

Cultural exchange program “Visiting to the land of heritage”.

At the program, youth delegates interacted with the original Xoan artists, learn about Xoan Singing - a unique art type honoured by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage representative of humanity; interact, enjoy the distinctive Xoan singing and professional artistic performances performed by artists and actors of the Military Music and Dance Theatre.

The show has created a cultural space that is identity-rich, filled with emotional circuits. Thus sending a meaningful message to the community about the spirit, responsibility, and joint efforts to preserve, protect and promote the value of cultural heritage, especially those that have been honoured by UNESCO. At the same time arouse the love of the country, national pride, from which, promoting the role, the responsibility of the young generation to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values in the new era, including the intangible cultural heritage Phu Tho Xoan singing.

The delegates presented the map of Vietnam to the leader of the Kim Duc commune and Kim Duc Primary School.

At the same time, the Central Propaganda and Education Committee presented 100 maps of Vietnam to the local authorities and schools in response to the “Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers” campaign launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union with propaganda, patriotic education, affirmation of sovereignty and territorial integrity by the specific actions of the members, the youth by hanging the map of Vietnam at the place of study and work. Besides, the delegation has also presented 10 gifts to the Xoan artisans in difficult circumstances; 10 to the students who are Xoan singers in Kim Duc Xoan ward; 35 gifts for the students in difficult circumstances in the area and gave a children’s bookcase with 500 headings, newspaper publications to the Kim Duc Primary School.

The delegation commemorated the Hung Kings.

On the same day, the delegation offered insence and flowers to commemorate Hung Kings at the Hung King Temple; offering flowers at the relief “Uncle Ho talking to officers and soldiers of the Pioneer Army” and visited, learnt about the Hung King historical relic site.
