Divided into three parts, the program began with opening performances titled “Echo of the Ancestral Land”, “Sacred Spirit of Vietnam” and “Proud Melody – Vietnam in Me”. These performances blended tradition with modernity, artistically portraying the journey of the Vietnamese people in building and defending their nation. The performances evoked a sacred yet proud atmosphere, rich with national identity.

The ceremonial segment featured “Mother Au Co”, “Children of the Dragon and Grandchildren of the Fairy” and “Banh Chung and Banh Giay” vividly brought to life through dance and music. These pieces were deeply infused with the traditional cultural essence of the Hung Kings era.

Particularly impressive were the performances of “Xanh Xanh Mien Xoan Gheo” and “Giac Mo Viet Nam”, which fused Phu Tho’s folk melodies with contemporary dance. These performances transported the audience to the spiritual homeland of Xu Doai, a land known for preserving unique intangible cultural values. The smooth, graceful melodies of Xoan singing-recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity-highlighted the region’s contribution to the world’s cultural legacy.

Songs such as “Viet Tri-City of Spring Festivals”, “Chim Doi Dat Lan”, “Viet Tri Welcomes the Dawn” and “City of Festivals and Love” celebrated the vibrant, harmonious life of the Ancestral Land’s people, their spirit of unity, and the Vietnamese tradition of remembering one’s roots.
