Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attends the launching ceremony of the institutional security and order force

On July 1, Phu Tho Town People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots. Attending were comrades: Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee: Duong Hoang Huong - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of the Provincial Police.

On November 28, 2023, at the 6th Session, the 15th National Assembly passed the Law on Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots, effective from July 1, 2024. The establishment of a Force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots helps consolidate and streamline focal points, create a legal basis for building and strengthening the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, contributing to the crime prevention and the public movement of protecting the national security associated with building the people’s security and a solid people’s security posture.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Quang requested the Security and Order Protection Teams to soon stabilize their organization, put them into order, and maintain good working relationships in accordance with the regulations; unite, strive to promote roles, responsibilities, and work capacity to successfully complete assigned tasks; Focus on effectively implementing 6 groups of tasks specified in the Law on Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots; Do a good job of supporting the Commune Police force in advising and understanding the situation related to security and order in the local area.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Quang and delegates presented flowers and gifts to encourage forces participating in protecting security and order in Phu Tho town. Forces participating in protecting security and order in Phu Tho town organized parades, praised their forces, and organized military exercises in 3 situations to participate in the task of protecting security and order at the grassroots.
