On March 6, the Steering Committee for Building Communist Party and Trade Union organizations in the sector of non-state enterprises held an assessment of the results of implementing Provincial Party Standing Committee Resolution No. 50, dated August 4, 2021, "Continuing to Strengthen the Building of Party Organizations and Unions in Non-State-Owned Enterprises in Phu Tho Province until 2025." The conference was chaired by Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Deputy Secretary and Head of the Steering Committee.

By the end of 2023, the province has had over 12,000 non-state-owned firms registered to begin operations, with a total registered company charter capital of over VND108,000 billion. There are 7,799 firms that operate consistently, accounting for 64.57%. There are 241 foreign-invested firms.

Implementing Resolution No. 50 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the work of establishing Communist Party and Trade Union organizations in the sector of non-state enterprises has been seriously led and directed by party committees at all levels in the province, in accordance with the current local situation. By the end of 2023, the province has had 236 Party organizations in the sector of non-state enterprises, totaling 4,063 party members, up 9 Party organizations and 188 Party members from 2022. At the same time, there are 451 trade unions and 169 youth unions.

After listening to the discussions of members of the Steering Committee, particularly the difficulties and obstacles in establishing and maintaining Communist Party organizations and Trade Union organizations in the sector of non-state enterprises, Standing Deputy Secretary Phung Khanh Tai Provincial Party Committee requests members of the Steering Committee, party committees, committees, branches, and organizations at all levels to continue to innovate strongly and properly in propaganda. Enhance, clearly state responsibilities, and assign specific targets to each level of Party committees, Party organizations, and government organizations at all levels, in association with the leader’s responsibilities to carry out tasks, with the goal of fully implementing the Resolution 50 targets. At the same time, continue to research, specify, and guide the content, methods, and ways of organizing activities and activities of Party organizations in non-state enterprises in order to improve efficiency, substance, and effectiveness without interfering with the enterprise’s production and business operations. Continue to explore and propose techniques and policies to facilitate the formation, organization of operations, and admission of new party members to the non-state enterprise sector. In 2024, striving to establish Party organizations in firms with 3 or more official Party members. Encourage company owners who are party members to join the Party Committee and become Secretary. In the ethos of “Easy first, difficult later,” firms with State shares, trade unions, youth unions, local businesses, business owners from traditional families, or with Party members as relatives do it first.
