Doan Hung Achieves Its First Advanced Rural Development Standard Commune in 2024
On the afternoon of December 26, Chi Dam Commune in Doan Hung District held a grand ceremony to announce the decision and receive the certificate recognizing it as an advanced rural development (NTM) standard commune in 2024. This marks the first commune in Doan Hung District to achieve the advanced NTM standard.
To date, Chi Dam Commune has fulfilled 100% of the required criteria. Between 2020 and 2024, the total investment in rural development within the commune reached 108.2 billion VND. Of this, local residents contributed 30.7 billion VND, accounting for 28.5%. The people voluntarily donated 114,620 square meters of land, cleared trees, crops, and structures worth over 6 billion VND, and mobilized over 9,000 workdays to build rural roads and participate in community projects.
Recognizing the efforts and dedication of the local Party committee, government, and residents, on December 20, 2024, the People’s Committee of Phu Tho Province issued Decision No. 2566/QD-UBND, officially recognizing Chi Dam Commune in Doan Hung District as meeting the advanced NTM standard. This achievement is a great honor and a source of motivation for the Party Committee, government, and people of Chi Dam Commune. It serves as an impetus for maintaining and enhancing the quality of advanced NTM criteria and striving toward the model new rural commune standard in the next phase.
At the ceremony, leaders of the People’s Committee of Doan Hung District presented the certificate recognizing Chi Dam Commune as an advanced NTM standard commune in 2024 to the local Party Committee, government, and residents. Groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the joint effort to build NTM were also commended and rewarded.
