Impression of Vietnam International Defense Exhibition

From early morning on December 22, thousands of people from many localities across the country flocked to Gia Lam Airport (Hanoi) to queue up to enter the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024. This is an opportunity to see with their own eyes modern equipment and weapons of the Vietnamese and world defense militaries.

Tens of thousands of people lined up from early morning to visit the exhibition.

The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 is part of a series of activities and events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - 2024).

The outdoor weapons and equipment display area was packed with visitors.... Everyone attentively looked at each weapon and piece of equipment, asked in detail about each product’s features, and took the best photos next to Vietnam’s modern weapons and equipment.

The exhibition is an opportunity for people to get close to defense equipment from leading military powers such as the US, China...

Children were extremely excited to experience the products displayed at the exhibition.

In addition to the outdoor exhibition space, people also have the opportunity to experience culture and new modern technologies made by Vietnam itself, such as virtual reality glasses, simulated shooting experiences, etc.

To meet the needs of people to continue visiting the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, on December 22, the Ministry of National Defense issued an official document stating that the exhibition will extend the service time of some exhibition booths until December 23 (instead of ending on the afternoon of December 22 as originally planned).
