On March 17, in Ban Nguyen commune, Lam Thao district, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee collaborated with the Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union to hold the peak day of “Volunteers joining hands to build new-style rural areas and Green Sunday”.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai presented gift to students in difficult circumstances.
Delegates launched the “Lighting up the countryside road” project at Ban Nguyen commune.
The event aims to highlight the pioneering role of young volunteers together building new-style rural areas, protecting environment and adapting climate change. Through these programs, youth continues to promote young strength, responsibility and excitement for creating their hometown and country. As a result, youth union levels, party committees and local governments are mobilized to assist the development of new-style rural areas into “worth-living villages”.

At the launch ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and supporting units handed to Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union, including a model of the “Light up the countryside road”, a virtual agricultural product floor in the Metaverse, a youth tree road, support the staging of training conferences on the expertise of generating livelihoods from processing household garbage in rural regions in 2024, 35 presents for youngsters in challenging situations. 10 presents for employees in difficult circumstances; 600 books for the library of Ban Nguyen Primary School 1; 100 maps of Vietnam and a website for Lam Thao district’s youth union; 20 waste sorting bins in public places.
